Crab Pot T Pot Pack of Five

Ever get sick of carting those huge crab traps around? Taking up most of the room in the boat? Bulky, awkward and inefficient?

The NEW Pop Up HD Crab Trap is the solution!

This collapsible crab trap folds down to a small roll and is ideal for all forms of crabbing whether by boat, bridge, bank or jetties. The folded dimension of 50cm length and 4cm at its widest diameter allows five traps to be packed into a small box or even a backpack, leaving plenty of room for other crabbing accessories and tools.

The trap is made from quality heavy duty stainless steel that allows a "pop up" action similar to our new pop up mossie domes. The trap can be activated in seconds, and a trapdoor style floor allows for quick and easy release of crabs.

For added stability in fast running water there are especially designed lead weights that can be easily crimped onto the bottom four legs.

Here is how it all works

1. Unwrap the hauling rope
2. Release the netting whilst the net is upside down.
3. Position the pot upright with the legs resting on a flat surface. Hold the plastic hub and pull the rope upwards till it locks in place. The trap is now ready to use.
To dismantle, hold the top hub between the first and second finger and push down with thumb to unlock the pot.
Turn upside down and wind excess rope around pot. Rinse pot in fresh water after use.
To release crabs, tip trap so that the crab falls past the overlapping release door.
Lift the top layer of the door netting and pull backwards and upwards, allowing the crabs to fall out. It's so easy!
To add weights crimp the lead directly onto the legs as required. For tropical locations we recommend 2 per leg.
