Handmade in Australia from a supple Japanese leader material that is abrasive resistant and remarkably fine in diameter, these leaders will add action to your lures and soft plastics and improve your catch in both fresh and salt water. There are no knots clattering through the guides, and the wind on connection will pass easily through the line guide and onto the reel spool. Casting is improved both by distance and accuracy.
The 2.4 m 100lb Supple leaders are ideal for casting the larger plastic minnows and larger fish during the run off!
The 2.0m 80lb Supple leaders are the same diameter as 55lb Schneider and are ideal for casting to barra and pelagics
The 1.8m 60lb Supple leaders are about 30% smaller diameter than 55lb Schneider and are ideal for casting small lures and light plastics.
The 1.7m 55lb Trolling leaders are made from Schneider and are used mainly for trolling in rivers and billabongs.
To use wind on leaders tie a double in your braid or main line about 20cms long. A Bimini Twist or a Spider Hitch
Then pull the double through the eye of the wind on leader, then feed all of the leader through the loop formed by the double. This will give a safe and secure cats paw or a figure of eight connection same as a reef knot.
